Wrapping Up Our Cycle + What’s Next (Murph Prep!)
Hey team,
We’ve officially wrapped up our most recent training cycle, and I just want to give everyone a huge shoutout—your progress has been incredible. We saw big improvements across the board, especially in front squats, pull-ups, deadlifts, and pressing. Whether it was adding weight, refining technique, or hitting new PRs, the consistency and effort you all brought to class truly paid off.
This coming week, we’ll be transitioning into a deload phase. While it might feel a little more abstract, deloading is a key part of long-term progress. By dialing back intensity and volume, we give our bodies the chance to recover, adapt, and come back stronger. Think of it as an intentional shift in stimulus—less load on the body, but still engaging movement and quality work.
Looking ahead, we’ll be building toward the Murph workout, which means you can expect to see more running, pull-ups, push-ups, and squats showing up in our programming. That said, don’t worry—there will always be scaling options for runs, and we won’t be leaving barbells or the rest of the fun stuff behind. It’s all about keeping the balance while getting ready for one of the most iconic workouts of the year.
Let’s keep showing up, working hard, and supporting each other. Murph prep starts soon, and we’re excited to take on the next challenge together!
